Colorado Rocky Mountain High

Our first visit to Colorado was last June to attend the wedding of our niece. Being outdoors types, we just had to come back and spend some serious time in this Rocky Mountain paradise. Remember our visit to the great state of Texas last spring for 5 weeks in 6 different locations, this time around you’ll be able to follow our escapades in Colorado for 6 weeks in 5 different locations: Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge, Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Pagosa Springs. On the way to Taos, New Mexico on April 12, we spent the afternoon visiting Santa Fe and taking the High Road into Taos. We stayed 12 nights at a townhouse style Airbnb in the adobe city of Taos. We even had our own Kiva (fireplace) which was nice and cozy on the mornings that started in the 20s – a bit chilly after leaving the warmth of Corpus Christi.
